Finding Help Through Psychotherapy

Medication Management

The most effective course of treatment for some emotional and behavioral problems includes an evaluation for medication that may serve as a supportive adjunct to psychotherapy. The staff of the Northshore Group includes two board certified psychiatrists and two board certified psychiatric nurse practitioners. If a medicine is prescribed, regular follow up visits will be scheduled and care can be coordinated with other physicians and therapists as indicated.

Psychological Evaluation

Psychologists and senior psychological examiners at the Northshore Group conduct a variety of assessments, including: comprehensive psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational evaluations; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental evaluations; and social security disability appraisals. Evaluations are specifically tailored to the needs of the client and serve a variety of functions, such as: differential diagnosis, school / work planning, treatment planning and disability compensation.
